Hundreds of school children throng the Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2020 in Bogrua everyday to buy books.
Bogura district administration and Sammilito Sangskritik Jote jointly arranged the ten-day book fair at Shaheed Khokon Park in the district town marking the International Mother Language Day. The book fair will end on February 29.
Amid a festive atmosphere and overwhelming participation of the school children, the Amar Ekushey Book Fair in Bogura has turned into a children’s paradise at some stalls where the children-related books are found. Many students visit the book fair after their school time.
A total of 75 stalls are in the book fair. Some of the stalls remain crowed with children as the books on children are found there. New Corner Publication is one of the stalls where ‘Chhotoder Bangabandhu (Bangabandhu of Children) and other books are found.
Parents, guardians, writers and publishers said that the book fair plays vital role for the children. President of Bogura Sammilito Sangskritik Jote Towfik Hasan Moyna said that they are happy over overwhelming participation school children in the book fair.
