Saudi-returnee woman quarantined

A woman who returned from Saudi Arabia has been quarantined at her house at Monirampur upazila in Jashore on suspicion of Coronavirus. The woman went to a local health complex following sore throat and cough on Monday night. At one stage she informed that she returned from Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

Later, the health complex authorities contacted the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). Following the suggestion of scientific officer of IEDCR Dr Alamgir Hossain, they suggested the woman to stay in quarantine at her house for two weeks, said Doctor Suvra Rani Debnath, upazila health officer.
