A new committee of Sarishabari Press Club in Jamalpur has been formed. A general meeting chaired by President Solaiman Hossain Harek was held at the Press Club Hall on Monday night. The committee was announced on the basis of the views of all the members present at the meeting.
Solaiman Hossain Harek (Samakal) as president and Faruk Hossain Firoz (Jaijaidin) as general secretary, MA Rauf (Manabjamin) as vice-president, Mominul Islam Kismat (Kalerkantha), joint general secretary, Shahidul Islam Nirab (Asian Age) as finance secretary, SM Zulfiqarur Rahman (MTV, Ittefaq), Mostaq Ahmed Monir (Asian TV, Bangladesh Post) were nominated as executive members.
Other members are Ibrahim Hossain Lebu (Naya Diganta), Zahurul Islam Thandu (Jugantar), Zakaria Jahangir (Manabkantha), MA Mannan (Inquilab), Faruk Hossain Kajal (Ajkal Khabar), Badsha Bhuiyan (Bhorer Darpan), Mizanur Rahman (Bangla TV). Speakers at the meeting wished overall improvement and prosperity of Sarishabari Press Club.
