Three prominent Bangladeshi lawyers—Barrister Sara Hossain, Barrister Nihad Kabir and Barrister Omar Sadat—have been recognised among the country's leading legal practitioners by the Asia Business Law Journal, a Hong Kong-based international legal publication.
The journal published its latest list of Bangladesh's top lawyers on its website on July 21, recognising legal professionals for their expertise and contributions to the profession.
According to the publication, the annual recognition is based on nominations from partners and in-house legal counsel of domestic and international law firms, independent research and client evaluations.
The journal said the selected lawyers have demonstrated outstanding professional competence and are capable of providing practical legal solutions to increasingly complex business and commercial matters.
It noted that, amid economic uncertainty and a challenging business environment, demand has grown for lawyers who can offer commercially viable advice alongside legal expertise.
The Asia Business Law Journal publishes the ranking annually, evaluating the performance, reputation and professional qualifications of leading lawyers across Asian jurisdictions.
