Salamun Nesa, previously the Deputy General Manager of Rupali Bank, has been promoted to the position of General Manager by the Ministry of Finance's Financial Institutions Department.
She has joined the head office of Rupali Bank Limited after her promotion. Salamun Nesa began started her career in Rupali Bank in 1998 as a probationary officer.
Throughout her career, she has held various important roles, including Deputy General Manager and Deputy Camelco in the Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Department.
She has also worked in the bank’s foreign trade loan and international department, as well as in different branches as a branch head.
Salamun Nesa has received recognition for his integrity and performance. She has obtained educational degrees from Dhaka University and has also completed the Professional Banking Diploma Examination from The Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh.
