AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan joined as Managing Director (MD) of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) on November 13.
Prior to this appointment, he was Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Limited. He also served in the same post at Agrani Bank Limited for a few months.
During his long 35 years of banking career, he performed as General Manager and Company Secretary, Head of HR, Head of Credit, Head of IT, Head of Principal office, Manager of different branches including corporate and AD Branches of Sonali Bank Limited across the country. He also served at Sonali Bank UK Limited in London, UK. Apart from these, he was the faculty member of BIBM.
AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Economics from Jahangirnagar University. He visited many countries to take part in various training programs, seminars, and workshops on banking issues. For instance, the UK, the USA, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India. He is blessed with one son and two daughters. He was born in a respectable Muslim family at Savar in Dhaka.
