Saima Wazed Putul, daughter of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has thanked US President Joe Biden for his warm hospitality in New York.
She tweeted a photo taken together with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, US President Joe Biden and the US First Lady on September 20 during a reception programme hosted by the US President.
"Thank you. Your hospitality is always warm and welcoming, and we had a lovely time," Putul tweeted.
Earlier on September, Joe Biden himself had taken a selfie with Saima Wazed and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina during the G20 Summit held in New Delhi.
According to sources, the warm reception by Joe Biden and his behavior with Bangladesh Prime Minister reflect that relationship between Bangladesh and US has become stronger than ever. Not only that a family bonding has been developed between Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Joe Biden.
