Safa Kabir, a popular face of the country’s showbiz, has acted in a romantic web series on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. ‘Debi’ movie-famed director Anam Biswas has made the web series.
The shooting of the web series has been completed recently after filming in various locations of Cox’s Bazar, and its editing is currently underway,
Written jointly by Anam Biswas, Kayanat Ahmed and Adnan Adib Khan, the web series has yet to get its title.
Anam Biswas said about the project, “This is an era of web series. After making my first film ‘Debi’, I have made my first web series. From my position, I have tried to make it flawless. Coming out of the conventional way, I have tried to tell the story in a different way. Though it seems to be a known story, there will be a story within the story.”
Safa Kabir said on her part, “I have done a number of works for this Eid. Among the projects, this web series is mentionable. A project like this with such a beautiful story has rarely been made. I am grateful to the director and the production house for giving me an opportunity to work in it.”
The web series will be released on video-on-demand platform Bioscope during Eid.
