Sadek Bachchu, a veteran actor of Dhaka film, has been diagnosed to be infected with coronavirus. He has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital due to shortness of breath recently.
Zayed Khan, general secretary of Shilpi Samiti, confirmed the matter.
Zayed Khan said, “Sadek Bachchu is not very well at the moment. His fever is coming and going, rising and falling. He is having a hard time trying to keep his breathing normal with the help of oxygen. He had heart problem before, it has increased at the moment. He has been suffering from chest pain since Thursday.”
According to hospital sources, Sadek Bachchu, who was admitted with shortness of breath, was kept on oxygen support to keep his breathing normal.
Sadek Bachchu is undergoing treatment in ICU of Corona Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in bed number 2. He was admitted to the hospital on the night of September 6 due to shortness of breath and fever. He was taken to the ICU on Tuesday night when his condition deteriorated. He is currently undergoing treatment there.
