Dhallywood one of the popular actresses Sabnam Faria has been granted permanent bail in a case filed by a customer of popular e-commerce company Evaly. The matter has been confirmed by Faria herself on Sunday.
Regarding the context Faria said, 'The court has given me permanent bail. I have been saying since the beginning that this case has been filed to put me in an embarrassing situation. I had respect for the law. The issue is being addressed in the legal process’.
Faria surrendered through a lawyer and applied for permanent bail as the eight-week anticipatory bail granted by the High Court had expired. The judge granted her bail until the police report was submitted after the hearing.
Earlier, on December 13, the High Court granted eight-week anticipatory bail to actresses Shabnam Faria and Rafiat Rashid Mithila.
On November 21 last year, a customer of Evaly named Saad Sam Rahman filed a case against nine people including Tahsan, Mithila and Shabnam Faria in Dhaka court. After taking the statement of the plaintiff, the court directed Dhanmondi police station to take the case as an FIR. Mithila was the goodwill ambassador of Evely Lifestyle.
On December 4 last year, Dhanmondi police accepted the case as an FIR. The next day she was sent to Dhaka court.
