Sabina leaves Dhaka to play in Indian league

Bangladesh national women football team’s captain Sabina Khatun left Dhaka on Monday for India to play Indian Women Football League. 

The forward has an agreement with Kickstart FC, Karnataka for three months. The club dealt with the Bangladesh captain few days back but due to visa complicacy delayed her departure. She may be play against her former club Sethu FC on Tuesday. There are two Nepali footballers also in Kickstart FC in foreign quota. 

Sabina played Indian first Division Football Club Sethu FC in 2018. The club became champions on that year. 

Sabina is going to India after five years when the skipper was the first women footballer to play in abroad as overseas women booter. She also played at Maldives Football League for severl times.    

Sabin aat her first appearance in the Indian Women league scored six goals in seven matches.
