Five members of the South African Emerging Team, who tested positive for corona, are now in isolation at the hotel. Manzur Hossain Chowdhury told Cricfrenzy, “All the girls of the South African Emerging Team were supposed to return to the country today (Monday). However, 5 individual tested positive after Covid test. The rest left in the morning,”

“These 5 people are currently in isolation in Dhaka. There is no reason for the results to be positive. They were in the bio-secure bubble here. We even tested them after every three days. They will be tested again today (Tuesday). Whether it is negative or positive, we will take the next decision based on the results," he added.

However, South African girls did not have a good time visiting Bangladesh.
