S Korea seeks jabs for its citizens in Dhaka

South Korean Ambassador in Dhaka Lee Jang-keun has sought Covid-19 vaccines for their citizens living in Bangladesh.

He made the request by meeting Health Minister Zahid Maleque at his office on Monday.

The health ministry said, during the meeting, he requested the minister to pay special attention to the Korean workers, tourists, students and others staying in Bangladesh in getting vaccines against the pandemic.

“The health minister listened to the ambassador attentively and promised to keep his request,” the health ministry said.

The Health Minister also requested the South Korean Ambassador to take stock of Bangladesh's labour market in South Korea and ensure that Bangladeshi nationals residing there get vaccines.
