‘Russian National Flag Day’ celebrated in Dhaka, on the outskirts

The Russian House in Dhaka celebrated the ‘National Flag Day of the Russian Federation’ through various programmes on Tuesday.

As part of the programmes, an art seminar was held with the participation of the students of Janata High School at Rupganj in Narayanganj in the morning.

At the programme, Director of the Russian House Pavel Dvoychenkov briefed the history of ‘National Flag Day of Russian Federation’ and the significance of the three colours of the Russian flag. 

He also replied to various questions of the participating students about Russian culture, art, and public life. 

Md. Mokter Hossain, the Headmaster of Janata High School, gave special thanks to the Director of the Russian House and said that Russia is a tested and trusted friend and Bangladesh is grateful to Russia. He told his school would like to participate in the activities of the Russian House in Dhaka. In the afternoon, the second art seminar was held at Serov Academy of Fine Arts. The young children and teenager students enthusiastically participated in drawing the national flag of Russia, the tricolor of white, blue and red.
