Russian House bids farewell to students with scholarship

The Russian House in Dhaka hosted a reception and farewell programme for Russian government scholarship students for the 2022-2023 academic year on Wednesday.

 Maxim Dobrokhotov, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, praised the decision of Bangladeshi youth for choosing Russia as a destination for higher education.

He wished them all the best.

He recalled that since 1972 over five thousand Bangladeshi graduates of Soviet / Russian universities received prestigious and well-paid professions both in the country and abroad working in government, private and various international organizations.

Dr. Md. Jahirul Islam, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, Ministry of Education of Bangladesh Ph.D. from Krasnodar University in 1991; Mahmudul Hasan Shamim, Sports journalist and freelance media personality, Masters in Civil Engineering from Peoples Friendship University of Russia in 1989 and Dr. Sk. Anisur Rahman, Senior Scientific Officer, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Regulation Authority (BAERA), Ph.D. from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPI) in 2020, attended the programme.

Syed Bazlul Hasan Rajib, Chief of Education Section, the Russian House in Dhaka explained about the educational process in higher education in Russian universities.
