Runner Automobiles Ltd (RAL) , a company listed under Dhaka Stock Exchange & Chittagong Stock Exchange, engaged in manufacturing, distributing & exporting of 2-Wheeler, has signed an agreement with Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL), a Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 having its principal office at Mumbai Pune Road, Akurdi, Pune 411 035, India to Manufacture & Distribute of Bajaj brand RE 4S 3-wheeler in Bangladesh.
Bajaj Auto Limited will provide necessary technical support for localization of parts & components, assembling and manufacturing of vehicles to Runner Automobiles Limited. This will be the first ever 3Wheeler manufacturing set up of a global brand in Bangladesh.
RAL will invest approximately BDT 300 cr, a part of which will be funded by IPO proceeds. The new manufacturing plant will be established at Bhaluka, Mymenshing.
