Day and night Test match begins today at Eden Garden in Kolkata. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be present there at the invitation of Sourav Ganguly, the new president of the Indian Cricket Board, to make the match memorable.
Special arrangements have been made for Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to attend the Kolkata Test and make the occasion memorable. She will be honored by the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) with a cricket ball-shaped memorial and gold coin.
Cultural events will be held briefly before the match begins.
Famous singer Runa Laila will sing at Eden Garden for the occasion at the invitation of Sourav today. The singer arrived in Kolkata on November 21 to attend the event. Shreya Ghosal, a current popular singer of India, will perform on the same stage with her.
