Runa Khan is an established television actor known for portraying characters that require subjective knowledge, expression and flexibility. Over the years she played various roles which are quite challenging and at the same time are quite likeable by the audience. Her films 'Gohin Baluchor' and 'Haalda' have received much acclaim by both audiences and critics. She has been awarded with the Meril Prothom Alo Critic's Choice Award for Best Actress for her film 'Chitkini'.
But at present time she is busy shooting for her upcoming telefilm titled ‘Shei Ami’. This is a Victory Day special drama featuring Runa Khan, Naznin Hasan Joarder and Arman Parvez Murad.
Regarding the telefilm Runa Khan said, “The telefilm is not like your average telefilm. The essence of independence and Victory Day has been brought out beautifully in the story. Even though I like Naznin Hasan Joarder very much as a fellow actress, I don’t have any scenes with her in the telefilm. Hopefully, the audience will like the telefilm when it comes out.”
The telefilm is being directed by prominent directed Dipu Hazra. Story and screenplay has been written by Dr Moinul Khan and it is being produced by 1952 Entertainment.
The telefilm is scheduled to be aired on Channel-i.
