Actor Runa Khan received much praise for her role in the film Shapludu. The film has been released in New York after being released in the country. Shapludu has been directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul.
Although she only gave a cameo appearance in the film, her role has attracted much attention from both critics and the audience.
Runa Khan said, ‘I couldn’t imagine that my 5 minute guest appearance in Shapludu would garner this much attention and praise. I am truly touched by the love I have received from everyone.’
After appearing in Shapludu, she is now working in drama serials. Among the ones she has acted in are Imrul Rafat’s Bishoiti Paribarik, Abu Hayat Mahmud’s Priyo Protibeshi, Bonolota, Golam Sohrab Dodul’s Shiuli Mala and Mehedi Hasan Hridoy’s Idiot Box.
Runa Khan has also been receiving praise for her performance in Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raj’s serial Family Crisis which is currently being aired on NTV. Bishoiti Paribarik is being aired on RTV and Priyo Protibeshi on Channel i. Bonolota and Shiuli Mala have not been broadcasted yet.
Runa Khan’s first film appearance was in Sajedul Awwal’s Chitkini. She has received much praise for her performances in Toukir Ahmed’s Halda and Badrul Anam Soud’s Gohiron Baluchar.
