The body of a student of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) was recovered from a hostel adjacent to Kazla area in Rajshahi city on Sunday noon.
The deceased was identified as Shakkhor Saha, student of Civil Engineering department of the university. He hailed from Faridpur district.
Sub-Inspector of Motihar police station Imran Hossain confirmed the matter.
According to the police, Shakkhor slept at midnight as usual. His friends did not get any response since morning. Then they started knocking his door at around 11:00 am after even not getting response. Later, they broke the door and found him dead and informed police.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital autopsy, said SI Imran Hossain.
