Mahububur Rahman Russel, Associate Professor of the department of Mass Communication and Journalism of Rajshahi University died of brain haemorrhage in Dhaka on Monday night. He was 36.
Family sources informed, he took treat in India and at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical College Hospital. He had been staying at the house of his sister in Dhaka aftermath of the treatment.
On Monday night he turned seriously ill when he was taken to Bangabadhu Sheikh Mujib Medical Hospital again but his condition being critical, he was being taken to a private hospital but he died on the way to the hospital.
Dr. Russel is hailed from Noakhali. He is survived with his wife and a minor daughter. His wife is also a teacher of RU. A pall of gloom descended among teachers and students of the department of Mass Communicaition and Journalism of RU following the death of Dr. Russel.
