A friendly Basketball competition between the Rajshahi University team and the Rooppur Nuclear Project team (Russia) was held at the Gymnasium of RU at 10-00 AM on Saturday. 12 players from Rooppur Nuclear Electricity project participated in the competition. RU team defeated Rooppur team by 17 points.
Professor Dr Golam Sabbir Satterm Vice-Chancellor of RU thanked all the participants and organisers for attending the friendly competition and hoped to arrange more such matches in future. Among others, the Proctor of RU Dr Asabul Haque and Public Relations Administrator Pradip Kumar were present at the function.
