Russia’s state nuclear corporation ROSATOM will once again launch its much-anticipated Global Atomic Quiz 2022 to celebrate ‘World Science Day’ all over the globe on November 10.
The main objective of the program is to highlight the importance of nuclear technologies in everyday life and to stress the role that nuclear power plays in preserving our fragile planet, ROSATOM official said.
The quiz will be available for 24 hours on November 10 at quiz.atomforyou.com. Anyone can participate in the quiz to test his/her knowledge of atomic science and learn a lot of new cool facts about many things starting from nuclear physics to the latest developments in nuclear technologies.
The participant will have the entire day to answer the 20 questions, which vary in difficulty and themes. The final score will depend on the number of correct answers and the overall time needed to complete the quiz. The top 100 participants will be declared as winners of the Global Atomic Quiz 2022!
Every participant will get a digital certificate to print out and put on the wall or share with friends on social media. This year a set of exclusive gifts has been created for the winners, including NUCLEUS board game, which is a fun, fast-paced card game played by millions around the globe, but with a unique feel and touch of nuclear science; a notebook with a one and only AI-generated cover; a whimsical Mood of the Day calendar and a recycled-fabric tote bag.
Rosatom celebrates the third anniversary of the Global Atomic Quiz this year. Since its inception in 2020, the project has brought together over 22,000 nuclear enthusiasts from more than 70 countries. This year the quiz will be available in 11 languages: Bangla, English, Russian, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Hungarian, Vietnamese, Kazakh, Armenian, and Uzbek.
The list of winners will be published on the project website by November 17, 2022.
