Meanwhile, the BGB member on duty stopped the Rohingya family and spoke to them. Rohingya refugees reported crossing the border due to the war situation in Myanmar.

Later, BGB members took the Rohingya family into custody, said the resident.

In this regard Bangladesh Post tried to contact BGB Cox's Bazar 34 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Abdullah Al Ashruki and Hoikung Union Chairman Noor Ahmad Anwari, but none of them responded.

UNB, Cox’s Bazar reports

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Monday pushed back four Rohingyas while they were trying to enter Bangladesh through Teknaf border in Cox’s Bazar district.

Commanding officer of BGB Teknaf Battalion Lieutenant colonel Mohiuddin Ahmed said four members of a Rohingya family were trying to enter Bangladesh through Whaikhong Ulubunia point of Teknaf in the afternoon.
