When the common people in the district town and other parts of Jhenaidah have been moving here and there without maintaining social distancing and relaxed in using face masks or other safety gears, district information office in Jhenaidah has been playing role in aware the people against the pandemic corona virus. Deputy Commissioner has been closely monitoring the activities, said the district information office sources.
Abu Bakar Siddiquee, district information officer (DIO) in Jhenaidah when contacted said his office has been conducting massive publicity on increasing trend of third-phase of corona virus. Their vehicles have been moving even at remote villages.
They have been advising people to wash hands before and after meal, wash hands and legs when entering home or other places coming from the outside and use face mask or other safety gears to avoid the havoc. Deputy Commissioner has been monitoring th awareness activities, DIO said. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mozibor Rahman when contacted said as the third phase of lockdown was imposed by the government when the increasing trend of covid 19 pandemic was increasing, they have been advising people not to be daring during the crisis hours. It will help keep the people safe.
DC said the people of the district were very sincere and responding about their health and safety. It will not be very complicated to mange the crisis hours within a short time, DC Mozibor Rahman expressed his hope.
