The Nabinagar-Shibpur-Radhika road development project package-2 under the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) was inaugurated at Nabinagar in Brahmanbaria on Friday.
Local MP and Member of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Information Mohammad Ebadul Karim Bulbul inaugurated the development project at a function as the chief guest.
The work of 9-km road at a cost of Tk96.61 crore will be completed by May 2022.
Earlier, the MP inspected the ongoing work on Rasulpur, Nandail-Kurighar, Bitghar (RNKB) (Mahesh Road) highway and construction of a bridge.
Upazila Chairman Moniruzzaman Monir presided over function while Vice Chairman Zakir Hossain Sadek, Executive Engineer of RHD Pankaj Bhoumik, Advocate Sujit Kumar Dev, Zahir Uddin Chowdhury Shahan, Ariful Haque Tipu, Md Nasir Uddin, Pranoy Kumar Pintu, Chairman Aslam Sikder and Chairman Enamul Haque spoke on the occasion, among others.
