Two people were killed and four others injured in three-way collision between a private car, CNG-run auto rickshaw and a motorcycle on Sonapur-Chairman Ghat Road in South Wapda area under Subarnachar upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Jasim, 60, a resident of Bhairab in Kishoreganj and Jewel Chanda Das, 28, son of Kiran Chanda Das, of Charaman Ullahpur village in Char Jabbar upazila of the district.
Motorbike rider died on the spot and the others injured were sent to Noakhali 250-bed General Hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Char Jabbar Police Station Mohammad Ziaul Haque.
