Two students of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) were killed as their motorcycle was hit by a passenger bus on the Chattogram-Kaptai road in Chattogram on Monday.
The accident took place at 3:30pm near to Kaptai Selina Quader Chowdhury College.
The deceased were identified as Shanto Saha, a 20th batch student of Civil Engineering Department (ID-2001100), son of Kajal Saha of Narsingdi and Taufiq Hossain, a 21st batch student of the same department (ID-2101006), son of Mohammad Delwar of New College Road, Sudharam, Noakhali.
CUET Deputy Director (Public Relations) Fazlur Rahman said that the body of Shanto Saha is in Chittagong Medical College (CMC) Hospital and Taufiq's body is in Evercare Hospital. The bodies will be handed over to their family members after the legal procedure.
