Fazley Hossain Badsha, Member of Parliament of Rajshahi Sadar constituency has said, 'Services of patients at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital have changed the age old concept about the state owned hospitals of the country. He said, once upon a time, people have an erroneous concept about Rajshahi Medical College Hospital that no treatment is available at RMCH but that concept has been changed now-a-days'.
MP Fazley Hossain Badsha made the above comments while exchanging views with the Director of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani at later's office on Thursday. MP Fazley Hossain Badsha congratulated the Director and the physicians of RMCH with floral wraths for rendering best services by RMCH among three hospitals of the country.
MP Fazley Hossain Badsha is also the President of the Board of Directors of RMCH. Recalling the services of RMCH physicians during Coronavirus pandemic, he said, hospital is a very sensitive place where the question of life and death of human beings is involved.
He commended the services of doctors of RMCH in tackling Coronavirus infected patients and said during the pandemic period nearly 15,000 Corona patients were treated at the hospital which is undoubtedly a laudable instance.
Fazley Hossain Badsha further informed, the services of RMCH has been improved but the number of beds at the hospital is very meagre.
That is why the number of beds should be increased so that every patient can get the required treatment with bed facilities. He hoped to work for increasing the number of beds and turning the hospital further patients' friendly.
Among others, Principal of RMC Professor Dr Naoshad Ali, Resident Surgeon, ENT Dr Subrata Sarker, RS, Surgery Dr MS Roy, RS Medicine Dr Partho Moni Bhattacharya, Head of Radiology Prof Hafizur Rahman, Head of Gynae Dr Rokey Khatun were present during the exchange of view programme.
