Due to an active presence of Monsoon wind on all over Bangladesh and the strong presence of it in the Northern Bay of Bengal, Department of Meteorology has asked 11 riverine ports of the country to hoist No-2 cautionary signal and No-1 cautionary signal for other river ports of the country from 5-00 am to 1-00 pm on Wednesday( August-26).
According to the weather forecast, rain or rain with thunder and temporary stormy wind at a speed of 60 to 80 kilometre may occur from the south or Southeastern direction in Dhaka, Faridpur, Jessore, Kuhstia, Khulna, Barishal. Patuakhali, Npoakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox's bazar regions. The forecast further said, in other parts of the country, the sporadic gusty or stormy wind at a speed of 45 to 60 kilometre may be blown away.
