Rituparna in Bangladeshi film Jam

Rituparna Sengupta who plays the female lead in Indrasis Acharya’s upcoming ‘Parcel’ will be starring in a Bangladeshi film ‘Jam’. The seasoned actress is currently in Dhaka shoot for the film and will be busy in shooting till September 26.

Rituparna Sengupta acted in many Bangladeshi films over the last several years including ‘Ekti Cinemar Golpo’, directed by actor Alamgir. She is a popular name in both Bangla, and Hindi cinema simultaneously.

In Noyeem Imtiaz Neamul's ‘Jam’, this beautiful actor will be seen as an attorney. The film is being produced under the banner of Manna's production house Kritanjali Kothachitra. ‘Jam’ is inspired by the works of Bangladeshi film journalist Ahmed Zaman Choudhury. The script of the film has been penned by Pantha Shahriar. Actor Purnima has also joined the cast of the film.

Meanwhile, Rituparna is also making a comeback to Bollywood with Hari Viswanath’s film ‘Bansuri’. Noted filmmaker Anurag Kashyap will be seen as Rituparna's husband in the film. Satarupa Sanyal is the creative producer of the film.

She is also playing the lead role of a sculptor in Raju Debnath’s upcoming social drama ‘Beautiful Life’.
