Following Shakib Al Hasan and Rishad Hossain 11 Bangladeshi cricketers are going to be drafted in the upcoming Big Bash League.  Rishad Hossain is among the 11 platers, when Hobart Hurricanes can retain him in the team if they want.

Shakib Al Hassan, the only player of Bangladesh, played the second biggest T20 franchise cricket.

However, Rishad Hossain, who had called up by the Hobart Hurricanes, could not play in the Australian league, due to conflicting schedules with the BPL, his NOC was not granted.

The draft of the next season’s Big Bash League will be held on June 19.

Apart from Rishad Hossain, the other crickters are of Bangladesh  are in the draft are Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Mehedi Hasan Miraj, Tanjim Hasan Shakib, Tanjid Hasan Tamim, Shamim Hossain Patwari, Towhid Hridoy, Taijul Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman and Soumya Sarkar.

Each of these Bangladesh stars has signed up for the entire season. However, whether they will be able to make it to the team for the full season is uncertain, as the BPL and Big Bash League are scheduled at the same time, therefore the  teams have little interest in Bangladeshi stars. However, Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman has been specifically identified by Cricket Australia's official website.

Meanwhile, more than 600 cricketers from 30 countries submitted their names in the Big Bash League.

Apart from the all Test and ODI playing countries, cricketers from Hong Kong, Rwanda, Japan, Greece, Indonesia and Hungary, have submitted their names for the Big Bash draft.
