Rice were distributed among 180 benefeciaries under VWB (Valnerable Women Benefit) programme for the year 2023-2024 in Burichang Upazila of Cumilla district on Thursday.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shahida Akter distributed the food grain at a function held at Mokam Union Parishad this morning. Women Affairs Officer Fatema Tuj Zohura, Union Parishad Chairman Md Shaheb Ali, AL leader Abdul Motin, Shafiqur Rahman and Shahin Qader were present, among others.
Each beneficiary got 36 kgs of rice in the function.
