Popular film actor Riaz Ahmed is playing a special role in drama serial 'KajolRekha' based on MymensinghGeetika. He will be seen playing the role of Raja Vikram Singh.
Under the direction of SM Salahuddin the shooting of 'KajolRekha' has been going on for about two weeks in a private TV studio.
According to the producer, Riaz only took part in the shooting one day. Other characters in the cast include Maria FarihUpma, Arman Parvez Murad, Sushma Sarkar, Munira Yusuf Mimi, Syed Shuvro, FarzanaChobi, Golam Farida Chhanda, FarzanaChumki, ShakhawatShimul, Momena Chowdhury, Doel, Kohinoor Alam, Jhuna Chowdhury, SyedaShila, Shuveccha Rahman, etc.
Riaz said, “KajolRekha is being made with mythological stories. There are many limitations in this kind of work in our country. Limitations of many things from budget, costume, technology. ‘KajolRekha’ is trying to do a good job. In this I am working as a guest. The audience will understand how good the work will be.”
Producer Salah Uddin held a press conference with its artist and crew on the sidelines of the shooting last Saturday evening. KajolRekha is based on the most expensive and state-of-the-art VFX and graphics, said its director. Producer Salah Uddin said, "It is an attempt to build 'KajolRekha' to present our culture to the world." Through this work, I believe that people all over the world will know the name of 'KajolRekha' like ‘Sindabad’, ‘Cinderella’, and ‘Aladdin’. Soon 'KajolRekha' will be aired on Dipto TV.
