A 15-day wildlife photography exhibition titled ‘Rewilding Bangladesh’ begins yesterday at Art Café in Gulshan Avenue of the capital. The exhibition is featuring the photographs captured US-based photographer Scott Trageser.

Organised by Creative Conservation Alliance (CCA), the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition took place yesterday on the gallery premises.

The exhibition is exhibiting images beyond that of any wildlife photography previously exhibited in Bangladesh. Through photographer’s lens, stories of the life and death of Bangladesh’s unique wildlife will be told and be accompanied by his documentation of the eight years of CCA’s intriguing work to save it.

Scott Trageser is a conservationist, researcher, award-winning photographer, and all-around a nature junkie behind Nature Stills Photography, Scott believes that striking wildlife imagery is a cornerstone of modern conservation, as it has the power to evoke appreciation for our imperiled ecosystems. Dedicated to the preservation of the natural world and an avid adventurer, he goes wherever endangered species are being overlooked.

The exhibition is open to all everyday from 9am to 11pm until July 27.

To note, the Creative Conservation Alliance is dedicated to the ecological and cultural preservation within Bangladesh’s last remaining wild places. Through their grassroots efforts they aim to empower local people to become stakeholders of their own landscapes.
