'United '92', an organisation of the SSC 1992 batches of the country, held a reunion at the auditorium of the Krishibid Instituiton of Bangladesh (KIB) in the capital recently (Novermer 29).
Around 600 members of the organisation from across the country participated in the programme which was draped in various events and cultural presentations and raffle draw. Popular musical band Different Touch presented their hit songs while reputed Lalon singer Synthia Bithi rendered popular Lalon songs. The get-together started at 3:30 in the afternoon and ended at 10:30 at night.
Chief coordinator Md Manir Uz Zaman expressed hope that their organisation will continue different social welfare activities such as blood donation, warm cloth distribution, financial cooperation to poor students and helpless families. The goal of the organisation is to connect friendhsip with humanitarian responsibilities and thus do welfare to the society and the country, he added.
