'Retreat Ceremony' parade held at Panchagarh border

A 'Retreat Ceremony' parade was held at Banglabandha-Phulbari frontier between the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and the Border Security Force of India on Thursday.

Panchagarh 18 BGB and Indian 176 BSF jointly arranged the parade on the occasion of birth centenary celebrations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Golden Jubilee celebration of Bangladesh's independence.

Both the countries’ security force displayed parade and saluted National flag. Citizens of both countries enjoyed the parade.

Brigadier General Region Commander A.B.M. Noyroj Hehosan, Border Guard Bangladesh North -west Rigion Rangpur , Sector Commander Cornel Thakurgon Sector sadar S,M. Azad, Panchagarh 18 BGB battalion Commandant Golam Fajle Rabbi ,  IG of BSF Ravi Gandhi North Bangle frontier of India, BSF DIG of Siliguri sector Sree Porshu Ram, Kisanganj sector DIG M.R. Majumdar Comman­dant , S.S Sirohi 176 Battalion of BSF were present there. In the evening BGB and BSF exchanged sweets between them on the occasion of golden Jubilee.
