The National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19 formed by the health ministry has advised the health department to resume the daily coronavirus health bulletin.
The bulletin conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) was stopped on August 11.
The committee, in its 17th meeting headed by the chair Prof Dr Mohammad Shahidullah, also advised a weekly question and answer session with the media regarding the virus situation, it said in a statement.
The committee also proposed that the government should start contacting different international drug companies, who are now on an advanced stage of the Covid-19 vaccine trial, to ensure the delivery as soon as it is ready.
The committee has suggested the government devise a detailed vaccination plan.
The committee also advised continuing the hotel quarantine facility that was recently revoked by the authority to ensure the safety of health officials and their families.
