Results of 1st-phase cluster admission test published

The results of the preliminary application for the cluster admission test of 20 general, science and technology public universities have been published. Applicants will be able to know the results from the official website (https://gstadmission.ac.bd/reg/check-elegiblility) with the information of their higher secondary examination.

The results were published on Wednesday. Convener of the technical committee of the cluster admission test and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Vice-chancellor Prof Munaj Ahmed Noor confirmed the matter to media.

According to the results, all students who have applied primarily in the humanities and commerce departments will have the opportunity to submit a final application, and 1 lakh 31 thousand students in the science department will be able to apply for the final admission test.

A total of 3 lakh 61 thousand 406 students applied for the first time in 20 general, science and technology universities of the country to take part in the cluster admission test. One lakh 94 thousand 841 students applied in the science department, 1 lakh 7 thousand 933 students in the humanities department and 58 thousand 632 students in the commerce department.

Munaj Ahmed said the results of the preliminary application for cluster admission have been published.

“The final application process for the enrolled students will continue from September 1 to 7. Written exams may be held in October next. The application fee has been fixed at Tk 1,200. The selected students are receiving results, user ID and password through SMS on their mobile phones”, he added.

He further said that an option would be launched on the website for students who have problems with mobile phone numbers. Mobile phone number can be changed from there. However, all students will not get the service. Only eligible students can apply by changing their number.
