A deer, which was rescued from Talbaria Village under shyamnagar Upazila in Satkhira, was later released in the Sundarbans on Wednesday.
Forest guards, with the help of villagers, caught the deer in the morning as locals informed the authorities after spotting the animal roaming around in the area at the dawn.
Forest Department officer Abu Sayeed said they rescued deer was unharmed and released it to the forest. On Monday, authorities rescued another deer in the area and released it to the Sundarbans.
