To prevent coronavirus situation, relief providing program was held on private and public initiatives for the helpless people of Thakurgaon on Saturday. In this program, reliefs were provided to 800 families of Bolidanga and 800 families of ThakurgaonUpazila.
On Friday night in a north-wester storm broke down four houses in Mohammadpur Union under the ThakurganUpazila. Abdullah Al Mamun UNO went there and provided dry foods to the people who suffered from it.
Apart from that Abdullah Al Mamun along with Maksuda Akhter Executive Magistrate Masu, Vumi Shikha Asha Assistant Commissioner and Samuel Murti Upazila Project Planning Officer delivered Prime Ministers gift reliefs to 200 families of Aliyapur Union, 200 families of Devipur Union, 215 families of Salander Union, 113 families of NarguniUnion.
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Salam on behalf of Doctors association of Bangladesh provided relief to 4 wards under Bolidanga Upazila. In the evening BNP leaders sent relief for 800 families of eight Unions.
In the program BNP president Raja Rahman senior vice President, Dr. Tofajjol Hussain Tofail General Secretary, Dr. TM Rahaman Organizational Secretary Adv. Abidur Rahman and others were present there.
