Coronavirus has already affected Dhaka films. According to information from the Film Distributors' and Producers Association, the number of viewers has decreased in cinemas in the past few weeks. The audience is in fear of the virus. In the neighboring country of India, the owners of the cinema halls are facing the same situation. Concert and events are being canceled one by one for safety. Already, release of several new films has been delayed. Now the release of film ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad 2’ directed by Debashish Biswas, has been delayed because of coronavirus. The movie was supposed to be released on March 20th. There has been uncertainty as to when the movie will be released, starring Apu Biswas and Bappi Chowdhury.
It was decided to postpone its release date to avoid endangering people's health out of to social responsibility, its production company Bengal Multimedia said. However, producer Syed Ashik Rahman has not yet said when it will be released. Apart from Apu Biswas and Bappi, Sadek Bachchu, Afzal Sharif, Kabila, Chikon Ali and many others have acted in it.
