REHAB Fair-2021 draws huge attraction among people as a significant number of visitors gathered at the fair venue, Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) on Friday, the weekly holiday.
Organised by the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), the five-day began on Thursday.
A total of 150 organisations in the real estate and housing sector have been participating in the fair aiming to showcase their products to the customers.
“This year’s REHAB Fair has been able to create attraction among all because last two years people could not even think of buying any flat or plot due to the severe impact of Covid-19 upon the lives and livelihoods all around the country”, said Mokhlesur Rahman Manik, a private sector businessman.
Manik said it was really hard to survive amid corona in the last around two years, and now situation has been getting a bit changed gradually, people are getting the rhythm of life back slowly and being able to think of many thing for the betterment of life.
First Vice President of REHA, Kamal Mahmud told Bangladesh Post that this year’s fair is much expecting for even the realtors as well because the Covid-19 situation has severely impacted housing sector business like all other sectors of trade and economy.
“We are arranging this year’s fair with much hope to create opportunity in bringing back the normal buying and selling environment for the housing sector investors”, Kamal added.
The fair accommodating 220 stalls and beside real estate organisations, some building material manufacturing organizations and money lending organizations also have been participating. The fair is remaining open for the general visitors from 10 am to 9 pm every day.
