Bangladesh Association of Software & Information Services (BASIS), the National Trade Body of Country’s Software & IT-Enabled Services industry has initiated “BASIS National ICT Awards” for the fifth time.
In order to acknowledge and recognize the innovative products and services of IT/ITES sectors, BASIS will distribute 108 awards in 36 categories. The winners of highly innovative projects will be nominated to compete with international participants in the APICTA Awards 2022 which is known as “Oscar” award of Asia-Pacific Region.
A Meet the Press program in this connection was organized at BASIS Auditorium on Tuesday .
It was announced that participants would be able to take part in this competition through online registration. Interested participants are encouraged to register using the official website of BASIS National ICT Awards.
This registration will be opened from 20th September to 2nd October 2022.
BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed presided over the Meet the Press program of BASIS National ICT Awards 2022. Among others, M Rashidul Hasan, Convener of the BASIS National ICT Awards 2022 and Chairman of BASIS Advisory Standing Committee, BASIS Director AKM Ahmedul Islam BABU and Tanvir Hossain Khan; Co-Chairman of BASIS Advisory Standing Committee Shah Imrul Kaeesh and Uttam Kumar Paul were also present at the program.
BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed stated that we try to select and identify all innovative and groundbreaking products and services of IT Sectors through BASIS National ICT Awards.
He also added that this Awards is being hosted by BASIS keeping upcoming APICTA Awards in mind.
