A motivating workshop of Youth Red Crescent was held at the auditorium of Khulna Zilla Parishad on Friday. Khulna district unit of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society organised the workshop. Chairman of Khulna Zilla Parishad and Khulna district unit president of the Red Crescent Society Sheikh Harunur Rashid attended the workshop as the chief guest.
Secretary of the unit Maqbool Hossain Minto presided over the inauguration session, while unit level officer Md. Mainul Islam Palash, workshop instructors Md Elias Ahmed and Moinul Islam also spoke at the programme.
In his speech, Sheikh Harunur Rashid called upon the youths and volunteers of the Red Crescent Society to work for mankind. He urged them to perform their duties properly in the service of the perilous. A total of 30 members of Khulna district and city unit of Juba Red Crescent took part in the daylong workshop.
