For the first time in Sreemangal, Moulvibazar – a tourist town known as the tea capital of the Sylhet division – a "Reader's Corner" book stall has been inaugurated. Tourists from home and abroad visit Sreemangal, and there is a constant flow of visitors. Often, tourists arrive at the railway station and have to wait for their trains.
To help passengers pass their waiting time, the Sreemangal Municipality inaugurated a book stall named "Reader's Corner" on Thursday.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest, Sreemangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Sreemangal Municipal Administrator, Mohammad Islam Uddin, who unveiled the stall. Also present were Sreemangal Municipality Executive Engineer Md. Zahirul Islam, Upazila Engineer Md. Yusuf Hossain Khan, and Sreemangal Railway Police Station OC Khairul Islam Talukdar, among others.
