RCC to make Bangabandhu’s largest mural

Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) will set up the country’s largest mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman for giving inspiration the general people to know about his life and works. The contribution for building a Sonar Bangla (golden Bangladesh), all the people should know about Bangabandhu’s life and works to materialize his dream, RCC mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton said while inaugurating the mural’s construction work on Saturday.

The mural will be constructed at a cost of around Taka five crore at C&B Crossing area in the city with an attractive look. Chaired by 7 no. ward councilor Matiur Rahman Moti, deputy commissioner Hamidul Haque, zila parishad chairman Muhammad Ali Sarkar and RCC panel mayors Tahera Khatun, Shariful Islam and chief engineer Ashraful Haque, among others, were also present in the occasion.
