Razzak offered selectors role

Left arm spinner Abdul Razzak is offered one of the selectors position by Bangladesh Cricket Board. After Faruque Ahmed leaving as chief selectors BCB selection panel has only two selectors and one position is still vacant.The board is searching for a selector but still did not find any body suitable person for that role, report agencies. BCB is interested to hire 

Abdur Razzak as one of the selector as he is one of the most respected cricketers in the cricket community. Cricket operation chairman Akram khan has told a local daily newspaper that they have given Razzak the proposal for the selectors role but he is taking time as he is playing Bangabandhu Dhaka premier league.

“I have told Habibul Basher to give Razzak our proposal. Razzak is taking time as he is playing in the league. He may want to play longer as well” Akram told a bangla newspaper. Razzak said he is well aware of BCB wanting him as selector and said he is taking some time to decide.

“Yes they have contact with me. I wanted some time to decide about this decision. I have told them that I will let them know after the premier league matches. Dhaka premier league is postponed now. I can think about this now.” Razzak told bangla newspaper.

Razzak is still is one of the premier performers in the local league and still get good remuneration for his service. “I have to leave cricket for this job. I will take time to decide about any decision‘’added Razzak. Shariar Nafees and Monjurel Hossain are the two other contenders for the selector position but they have not been contracted by the BCB.
