A rare owl known as brown Hawk owl (Ninox Scutula) was rescued in an injured state from the field of Sibbati Sebak Samity Primary School of Bogura town on Thursday night.
Arafat Rahman and Rifat Hasan, President and the Assistant Publicity Secretary of Environmental organisation 'Teer' of Bogura Azizul Haque College rescued the rare owl. It is now being treated by them.
Arafat Rahman said, being informed, Rifat and he went to the spot and rescued it.
The young owl has been hurt on its left wing. It was being treated and will be released again in the air when it is cured.
