Rangpur division recorded no fresh Covid-19 cases as none was diagnosed positive after testing six new samples on Friday. "As a result, the total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,895 in the division," Divisional Deputy Director (Health) Dr Habibur Rahman said.
The total number of recovered Covid-19 patients also remained steady at 63,494 as no more patients healed in the division during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am on Saturday. The number of casualties remained steady at 1,291 as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a total of three crore 27 lakh 29 thousand and 278 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered till Friday in all eight districts of the division.
"Among the total administered Covid-19 jabs, 1,37,21,276 doses were inoculated as the first doses, 1,32,45,403 as the second doses and 57,62,599 as the booster doses," Dr. Rahman added.
